How It Works

Inbound Flow (Receive WhatsApp Messages)

1. Add the WAWCD Plugin Receive Message node to your workflow.
2. Copy the generated webhook URL from the node.
3. In WAWCD, go to Outgoing Webhooks and register the webhook URL.
4. When a customer sends a message to your WAWCD-connected WhatsApp account, WAWCD sends the event payload to n8n.
5. The node validates, normalizes, and forwards the data to the next workflow steps.

Outbound Flow (Send WhatsApp Messages)

1. Create WAWCD API Credentials inside n8n.
2. Configure your API Base URL and Incoming Webhook Token.
3. Add the WAWCD Plugin Send Message node to your workflow.
4. Configure recipients, message content, media, or scheduling.
5. The node sends the request to your WAWCD instance, which delivers the message through WhatsApp.

Your WhatsApp account association is managed automatically through your configured webhook token, so no separate account selection is required.
